CoeXISt is a developer framework that allows you to integrate IBM Cognos BI report objects in Adobe Flex and .Net applications. CoeXISt delivers pre-built reporting components such as prompts and data container objects. Creating a mashup between IBM Cognos 8 BI and your corporate enterprise portal, content management system or web application has never been easier.

Architecture

 

Since version 8.4.1 of IBM Cognos BI, a RESTfull API is available for integration within other developer environments. CoeXISt Flex and .Net use this API to create components with, making the Cognos SDK not needed anymore.
